I was sifting through the piles of unused photos taken from the first photo shoot for the shop and thought what a pity for these pictures to go to waste. I can't keep them all as they eat up a lot of space on my hard drive so I've decided to use the initially rejected photos for 3 of the items as the main pictures to properly represent them and move the current pictures (the one with the different backgrounds) after the page jump. I wasn't quite fond of the latter pictures to begin with but I wanted to make sure that the items were clear enough for my customers to see although they didn't turn out to be as appealing. Those pictures just did not do justice to the actual aesthetic of the pieces. I also dislike how those pictures have affected the overall feel of the blog so I see it fit to use the original shots to spruce up the face of the blogshop and to keep a uniform look to it.
One of the pictures I've switched is that of the Clay Red dress (DC015) which if I may add is one of my favorites from the lot and I'm half hoping that they'll be no takers so that I can lay claim to it myself :p
The material is also really comfortable.
Most of the dresses have been sold and I should clear the blog for easier browsing but I want to keep an online record of what I've placed and sold in the shop. I'm looking at how I can remove the post from the main page and store the sold posts in the sold section only. I'm working on it so please bear with me. Also planning to place a link page as well.
I'm going to start taking pictures for the next full update tomorrow so that I'll have enough time to sort everything out especially since I'm going to be rather busy in September. But no worries, I am fully committed to this small little shop of mine and intend to keep it running. Heck, it hasn't even been a month yet so to fold now would be rather pathetic. Plus, it has been too much fun to quit so soon :p
You really don't want to miss the next collection. We've got some really tempting pieces. Think tea time and walks in the park and lotsa sunshine.
Till then...
